Hartlepool Borough Council is inviting tenders for the Provision of Extra Care Services, designed to support residents living in 242 units of extra care accommodation across multiple schemes. The focus is on delivering flexible, person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being, while addressing the social, health, and personal needs of individuals.
The service provision involves collaboration with Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust, integrating care and housing services under a unified framework to ensure seamless support for residents.
The contract is expected to commence on 22 May 2025 for an initial period of 5 years, with an option to extend for a further 2 years in 12-month increments.
