Tender Description
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC) is procuring a Carers Service to provide information, advice, and support to carers in line with the Care Act 2014.
This service will focus on:
• Identifying and Supporting Carers – Including awareness campaigns and outreach to underrepresented groups.
• Single Point of Access – Providing comprehensive information, advice, and referrals.
• Preventative Community Support – Facilitating peer support groups and collaborations with local partners.
• Carer Wellbeing Checks – Ensuring ongoing support and intervention as needed.
• Wellbeing Plans and Triage – Directing carers to Adult Social Care and Children’s Trust services when required.
The service will be delivered in Sandwell, supporting better outcomes for carers, including health, wellbeing, and opportunities.
